Unique to this expansion are Allies cards ...This 14th expansion to Dominion adds 400 cards with 31 new Kingdom Cards, which players pair with the basic Dominion game and combine with any of the previous expansions to add new interest and challenges for even more variable game play. Unique to this expansion are Allies cards, which use provided “Favor" Player boards and tokens.
Nine of the Kingdom cards from this set are designated as “liaison" cards which help players gain favor tokens. Ally Cards provide opportunities to spend these tokens to gain items or actions that are provided on the card that is used in that game. Also new in this expansion are Split card piles.
These cards are placed with an affiliated named action card in a stack that is split between four different cards that are placed in an order indicated on the main action card, which will then escalate in purchase value and action powers throughout the stack. Requires the Base Dominion game for 2-4 players with a 30+ minute game play.
